The Harptrees History have recently discovered a series of images of the interior and exterior of the church and of its surroundings and of the wider village. Attached is a particularly good one showing what the east end of the chancel of St Laurence looked like when the original Victorian decoration was all there. And hopefully this is what it will look like when the white paint is removed
